When he said he didn't love me
I felt needles piercing my heart
In one moment, all my dreams
Crashed and my world fell apart.

My skies once a beautiful blue
Are growing darker by the day
My heart is crying in lonely pain
Since my love decided to go away.

Please God tell me what to do
To put my world back together again,
Taking away the terrible loneliness
And all the heartbreaking pain?

The sun sets each day that comes
Each morning it rises to give us light
God, is that your way of telling me
The direction I take will be right?
