It was lots of fun decorating our Christmas tree
All of us were full of vigor, happy as we could be
Christmas came and went fast as batting your eye
Now everyone looks so sad, I feel like I want to cry.



My wife said not to worry, Easter will be here soon
She sure knows how to brighten a dark afternoon
I went to the attic and fetched our Easter Baskets out
The children will be happy on Easter, I have no doubt.



Wouldn't it be sad if we didn't have our Holidays
We'd have little reason wishing dull months away.
Maybe that's why sometimes we wish upon a star
For family happiness, that's the way most of us are.
