It's amazing the needless
Worrying most of us do
When a cause for surgery
Appears right out of the blue.

The sandman won't come
Needed sleep stays away
Your imagination goes wild
Becoming worse each day.

Your family says calm down
To think positive all the time
Think about pleasant things
Not things of a negative kind.

Then when the surgery is over
And you had no problems at all
You felt like butting your head
Against the nearest wall.
