Sometimes I close my eyes
Remembering how happy he made me
When he told his plans for our future
His lies I guess I was too blind to see.



He was there for our wedding rehearsal
It was then I saw a change in his eyes
I wondered if he was having second thoughts
And all his promises were a bunch of lies.



I should have listened to my conscience
Because on our wedding day he didn't appear
I wish I had been strong like I should've been
I would not have shed one single tear.



The sun rises in the morning and sets at night
Today I'm proud to say I've found the right man
If you're ever in the predicament I was in
My advice to you is forget it fast as you can.
